Summer Workshop Programme

Booking on our next season of digital media courses for July to September 2008 opens 26th May.

Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro and Digital Printmaking are booking now in our June workshop series.

Our July - September workshop programme gets set for the holidays with the "Better Photography" day, aiming to make sure you don't miss that great Summer photo-opportunity. "Photoshop For Photographers", cuts to the chase for snappers who want to know just how to crop, enhance and prep images for print.

Digital Media Studio

New offerings this season include "DVD Authoring" in DVDSP, the "PC Surgery" for a hands-on guide to ungrading and maintaining your Windows PC. Plus, we're running a weekly Animation day for young people, every Thursday through July.

Open Access Print

Our monthly Open Access sessions on Sundays allow use of all of our facilities, including the Epson SC Pro 7600 printer. Large format, high quality print up to A1 - with a compelling price.

Accomodation

For those travelling from further afield, we've arranged a special discounted accomodation deal for people attending our workshops. A Friday or Saturday night can be had at nearby Waterloo Hotel for only £35.00. Please ask the Box Office for details when you book your ticket.

 

Sound:Space 2008

Our Sound:Space sound art symposium event for this year is now approaching.

Lead artist at the 2008 event is kinetic sculptor, Max Eastley, whose work will be showing in the "Kinetic Drawings" exhibition in our Gallery over the Autumn.

Our call for works for the group shows of interactive/video and 2D work is out now. Deadline: Tuesday 27th May. Application forms can be downloaded from the Sound:Space website.

Xtend: Dance For Camera 2008

Our second Dance for Camera submission exhibition is showing in the Atrium at SHP during the Lift Off! Dance Festival season from 4th February-March 2008.
